According to reports, Hyundai hopes to begin manufacturing the battery-powered Creta by the end of 2024. The car is expected to hit the Indian market in the first quarter of 2025.
Hyundai Creta’s competitors are expected to be C-segment compact electric SUVs and crossovers such as Tata Curvv EV, MG ZS EV and Windsor EV. Additionally, the company might also face some competition from upcoming EV models like Maruti Suzuki Evx and its sibling Toyota, and Mahindra BE 6e.

The Hyundai Creta EV is expected to resemble its ICE-powered counterpart. The upcoming model could sport a distinctive jewelry-themed grille, dual LED DRLS and a split lighting setup with dual-projector LED headlamps, similar to what we saw in the standard variant of the Creta. Additionally, the car would also feature 17-inch dual-tone machine-cut alloy wheels.
