ICSE, ISC Exams 2024 Live: What students said after CISCE 12th Economics exam

Kashvi Pandey of LMGC said, “The paper was lengthy and contained several diagrammatic questions. The MCQs were all based on practical knowledge of the subject and covered the basics of all topics. It was a challenging and tricky paper but we were able to complete it within time, and our teacher’s guidance helped us greatly through it.”

Gurkeerat Kaur of La Martiniere Girls College said, “The economics board exam featured tricky multiple-choice questions, a lengthy paper, and case studies of moderate difficulty. I found the MCQs challenging, although the case studies were manageable. Overall, the exam was perceived as demanding due to its length and complexity.”

Harnoor Kaur and Chhavi Chugh from City Montessori School RDSO branch school said that Section B (Short questions) focused on core topics was a good approach as it tested fundamental understanding. These questions likely required concise and precise answers, demonstrating a clear grasp of the subject matter. Section C (Long questions): Straightforward questions, including numerical.

Students of the City Montessori School RDSO branch said that the economics question paper struck a good balance between challenging and accessible. It provided students with an opportunity to demonstrate both their depth of understanding and ability to apply concepts effectively.

Kartik Awasthi and Anushka Singh of CMS RDSO said that Section A (MCQs) seemed to be designed to test a deeper understanding of the topics rather than just rote memorization. Tricky yet moderate questions were given to evaluate a student’s ability to apply concepts.

Students of City Montessori School, Kanpur Road branch looked satisfied after writing their paper. “Section B had some sub parts that had no direct answers, rather required the children to think analytically.

Many questions required lengthy answers and were therefore time taking. Kanishka Mittal and Ayush Raj of CMS Kanpur Road Campus said “Certain MCQs had confusing distractors and questions in section B required in-depth analysis and interpretation of the topic.”

Anurudh Sharma and Garima Jain of CMS Kanpur Road Campus said, “Certain MCQs had confusing distractors and questions in the RTCs required in-depth analysis and interpretation of the text”. On the other hand Rohi Sachan of CMS Kanpur Road Campus said,”The paper seemed easy as most of the topics that had come were extensively practiced in the class.” Over all, the students seemed quite happy and satisfied with the paper.

Lucknow’s City Montessori School students said that the ICSE literature paper today was quite a balanced one. While the MCQs were tricky and required some thinking, the RTC questions had some sub parts that had no direct answers from the text rather required the children to think analytically. Many questions required lengthy answers and were therefore, time taking.

Student of St. Xavier’s High school in Patna found the English Literature paper to be easier compared to 2023. The paper was set as per ICSE paper pattern.

Parthivi Agnihotri of St Joseph Rajajipuram branch said, “Paper was easy. Some questions were lengthy. Last two MCQ’s were a little bit tough for me.”

Hadiyah Mui, a student of LMGC said: “I found the paper to be pretty simple and straightforward. The multiple-choice questions (MCQs) were quite simple, and the issues posed were highly engaging, even with the Merchant of Venice selection. It was enjoyable to respond to a few of the higher order thinking questions we had in mov and poetry. The answers to the descriptive poetry and prose encompassed nearly all of the chapters without being difficult.”
Brahmasmi Gautam, another student of LMGC said: “The paper of English Literature was easy. It was not complicated.” Avni Singh of LMGC said: “The paper was balanced. It was not difficult. There were more High Order thinking questions this time. The questions weren’t very twisted either, they were straightforward, just a little lengthy. Overall the paper was a lot easier than I expected it to be.”

Aabha Shukla, a student of St Joseph College said, “I knew almost all answers and completed it on time. I’m very happy. I hope all my papers will also go like this only.”

Khushi Ojha from same school said, “Our English Literature paper was moderate. One can easily score good grades if you have studied the whole year. It was joyful to solve the question paper.”

Nashra Zahid, another student from St Joseph said, “Our English Literature paper was not very difficult.”

Shemam Yunus, a student of LMGC said, “The question paper was very easy, however there were a couple of MCQs which I found to be tricky. Overall, the questions were quite simple.”

Romilla Bunny, English teacher of LMGC said that it was an excellent paper. Reasoning questions were handled well. Moderate in difficulty, she said.

Gauri Goel, a class 10 student of La Martiniere Girls College said that, “The question paper was easy and it covered the entire syllabus. Was able to complete the paper well on time. Our English teacher prepared us well.”

Lucknow students found ICSE English Literature Paper 2024 relatively easy with a few tricky questions. According to the students poetry section was easy.
“We were able to attempt the poetry section with ease. Most of us were able to comprehend the question effectively and finished the paper well in time,” said Keshvi Singh and Manas Mishra, students of City Montessori School, RDSO branch.
“The questions from the play were easy to comprehend and we were able to finish the paper well in time. Section A questions required thoughtfulness,” said Priyanka Srivastava, Devina Srivastava and Vailace, all students of CMS RDSO campus, Lucknow.

CISCE 10th Exam 2024 concluded. The paper was easy but tricky, says students who appeared for the examination.

ICSE Board Exam 2024 for February 23, 2024 ends. The examination was conducted from 11 am to 1 pm.

Use of any electronic devices, hand, desk or other types of calculating machines are not permitted.

The ICSE and ISC results 2024 will be declared in the month of May 2024.

The continuation booklets will be issued on request only after you have completed writing on all page of the answer booklet/ continuation booklet already issued.

Candidates are allowed to use a Black or Blue ball point pen or fountain pen for writing the answers. Pencils may be used only for diagrams. Mathematical and drawing instruments and coloured pencils for subjects needed should be carried by the examinee.

The Class 10 or ICSE examination will conclude on March 28, 2024, with Art Paper 4 (Applied Art).

On the top sheet of the main answer booklet, candidates are required to put their signatures in the space provided for the purpose. UID, Index number and subject should be written clearly on the top sheet.

In addition to the time indicated on the timetable for writing the paper, 15 minutes time is given for reading the question paper.

ISC Exam 2024 will begin at 2 pm and will conclude at 5 pm today. The papers to be conducted today are Economics, Biotechnology.
