The Sony WF-C510 truly wireless earbuds were launched in India on Friday. Sony’s latest earbuds come in four distinct color options and are IPX4 rated for sweat and water resistance. They are advertised to provide up to 22 hours of total battery life on a single charge and a five-minute quick charge would give an hour of playback. The Sony WF-C510 features an ambient noise mode that allows users to stay connected to the world around them without interrupting their music experience. They can be paired with Android and iOS smartphones via the Sony Headphones Connect app.

The new Sony WF-C510 earphones are priced at Rs. 9,999. 4,990 in India. They come in black, blue, white, and yellow color options. They are currently in the running for purchase across Sony retail stores (Sony Center and Sony Exclusive), ShopatSC portal, leading electronics stores and other e-commerce websites in India.

The Sony WF-C510 features a 6mm driver and a frequency response range of 20-20,000Hz. The headphones feature Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity and support SBC and AAC Bluetooth codecs. They are compatible with Sony’s Multipoint Connection which allows users to connect the headphones to two Bluetooth devices simultaneously. They incorporate DSEE (Digital Sound Enhancement Engine) for an enhanced audio experience.
They offer an ambient sound mode that allows the user to hear surrounding sound while listening to music. There is also a Voice Focus feature that claims to capture human voices while suppressing noise. Users can customize sound settings through the Sony Headphones Connect app. The Sony WF-C510 offers Fast Pair and Swift Pair functionality for quick pairing.
The Sony WF-C510 headphones have an in-ear design and have an IPX4 water resistance rating to handle splashes and sweat. With the quick access feature, users can use Spotify Tap with just a few simple clicks. Additionally, wearers can independently use the left or right earbud after removing it from the charging case.
Sony claims that the WF-C510 earphones can deliver up to 11 hours of playback on a single charge and up to 22 hours of playback with the cylindrical charging case. The earbuds also support fast charging and are said to offer up to an hour of listening time with just five minutes of charging.
